Ingredients
Rice 11/2 cups
methi leaves - 1 bunch
onion - 1 (cut length wise)
tomato - 1 small (chopped)
green chillies - 2 (cut lengthwise)
red chilly powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
cinnamon -1 piece
cloves - 2
mustered

salt
Method
- Cook the rice to tender.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustered, cinnamon, cloves and ginger garlic paste. saute it until the raw smell goes away.
- Now add the chopped methi leaves and saute for 3 minutes. then add onion, green chillies, saute for 2 minutes, then add tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt, cook for few minutes.
- Finally add the rice and mix well.
Combination : Appalam, chips or vadagam.
Variation : You can add peas with methi leaves. also you can add roasted peanuts & cashews.
